My name is Loran Marmes, I am the owner of LJM Life Insurance, and I would like to take a moment to explain why we are your best option when it comes to Life Insurance.

A little information about myself: I was born and raised in the Midwest and joined the U.S. Navy directly upon graduating high school. I was stationed for most of my tour in Washington State, attached to an A-6 Intruder squadron.

We were assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise and made 1 world cruise and 1 westpac cruise. While in the service I married my high school sweetheart and we were blessed with 2 children. (now grown)

After my four year tour of duty I went into printing as a trade, and worked at various press rooms and newspapers throughout Wisconsin, both as a pressman and as pressroom foreman.

My greatest love in printing was working with the clients and helping them solve their problems. As the printing market drastically changed from several small town mom and pop type shops to centrally located, conglomerate owned shops I started looking for the next chapter in my life.

I had family in the insurance business and with working twelve hour days half of the week, got my Health and Life Insurance license. I worked Thursday thru Sat and every other Sunday printing and sold insurance the other days of the week.

While the seven day a week schedule was tough for two years it did allow me to slowly learn my craft and ease into it, without worrying how I would pay the bills. I then retired after 2 years of that schedule and focused all my attention to the insurance market.

I specialize in Life Insurance because I have seen first hand what happens to a family when the main bread winner dies without any coverage.

I witnessed a very close friends widow have to sell her home and completely change her lifestyle after her husband unexpectedly passed without any Life Insurance and left her and two young children to pay the bills on her part time salary.

That is when I saw that I could offer the most help by educating people on what products they need to protect their family, and help them find the coverage at a price they can afford.
